Going electric is a journey. Get a trained coach to be your trusty guide.
Going electric — in your home and vehicle — is one of the single best ways to reduce your carbon footprint. It's also a great way to increase comfort, reduce indoor air pollution, and save money! But going electric can be overwhelming. There are so many questions: How do I get started? What is an energy assessment? Will I need to update my electric panel? How can I find the right products? What if I’m a renter? How do I get incentives and rebates? How do I find contractors?
How our coaching works.
A typical coaching experience has the following steps:
Step #1: Assessment
Your coach will ask you questions, assess your home, and find out what you’re hoping for. Most likely you'll meet through video, but you can also meet by phone, at your home, or at a local coffee shop.
Step #2: Discussion
Your coach will go through a step-by-step list to determine what makes sense for your home and budget. They’ll answer your questions and discuss your options.
Step #3: The Plan
After meeting, your coach will summarize your discussion and send a personalized electrification plan, which will include recommended next steps as well as information about other electrification options. Your coach will also be available to answer questions that crop up in the future.

Our highly-trained coaches will meet you where you are.
Our coaches are trained by Rewiring America and receive ongoing education about home and vehicle electrification. They’re happy to chat about heat pump furnaces, heat pump water heaters, electric vehicles, induction stoves, electric lawn equipment, residential solar, battery storage, and much more. They’ll provide fact sheets, lists of vetted contractors, and informational videos. But most importantly, our coaches are volunteers who have no hidden agendas!
